This Saturday's Expert Speakers:

Robin Hanson

Keeps you from killing your culture

George Mason economist Robin Hanson asks whether the force that built civilization can still sustain it. Exploring cultural evolution, he challenges faith in progress and asks what happens when the ideas we inherit stop helping us adapt to change.

Lee Cronin

Makes programming matter matter

Lee Cronin turns code into chemistry, asking how matter becomes life. Through Assembly Theory and chemputation, the Glasgow chemist explores how complexity emerges, how evolution begins and how programming molecules could transform what's built.

Margaret Wertheim

Threads the world together

Margaret Wertheim puts the mathematics of coral into our hands. Co-creator of the Crochet Coral Reef, she brings art, science and communities together, turning loops of yarn into an encounter with life, collective imagination and a fragile planet.
