Ed was born in Texas and grew up in rural Virginia.
Part of a construction and real estate family that his grandfather and grandma started he had the entrepreneurial and inventive spirit instilled in him at a young age.
From about 12 to 16 years old Ed collected golf balls in the course ponds, cleaned and resold them to the golfers (which inspired one of his first inventions of a large steel rake with a cage, metal pole and rope thrown out into the ponds and retrieved to collect balls), to shooting mistletoe and selling it door to door to make money for Christmas presents to shoveling snow in the winter and cutting grass in the summer. Then from 16-18 worked as a framing carpenter and lifeguard in the summers.
After Ed graduated with a degree in building construction from Virginia Tech, he owned a construction company in Virginia for 7 years he moved to California in 2000 on a spiritual journey.
In 2002, he launched his real estate career and has been an award-winning, top producing agent in up and down markets for 20 years.
Among his honors are the Shorewood Oscar and the coveted “Best of the Beach” award 2 years in a row. Ed is most proud of the achievement that most of his business comes from referrals and repeat business from past clients.
After years of networking and marketing, Ed thought what if all these people, businesses, and organizations could come together, support each other, share all the things they trust and grow together. To that goal, he created iTRUSTit.
Ed has been an avid breathwork student for over 5 years
When not selling homes, creating products to patent, or launching new projects, Ed enjoys bike riding, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, swimming, surfing, breathwork and live music.
